DUE: Session Proposals for the 2019 Academic Affairs Faculty Retreat

The annual MCPHS University – Academic Affairs Faculty Retreat will be held on Thursday, January, 3, 2019 at the Newton Marriott. The theme of the 2019 Retreat is Teaching and Learning that Matters.

At this time, faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals for interactive/special sessions, mini sessions and round-table discussions. Please see the attached document for session format description and possible topics.

This year, we are sending a call for proposals in order to provide a program that addresses the many topics of interest for our audience. You, as a member of our faculty or professional staff, are being given the opportunity to submit proposals for:

  • 75-minute interactive/special session
  • 30-minute mini session
  • 30-minute round-table discussion

The deadline for proposals is Monday, November 5th at 12:00pm. Please use the link below to submit your proposal:

Proposals will be reviewed by representatives from the Provost's Office in order to provide the faculty and staff with a diverse array of topics. Acceptance notification will be sent by the end of November.

The full schedule of sessions and final agenda will be available early December.
